Nutrients are delivered in a smaller volume than infant formula so your baby still has an appetite for food. Use as part of a mixed weaning diet. Packaged in a protective atmosphere. – Prepare and Use: Feeding guide From 6 months + All babies are different but you should try to ensure that from 6 months to 1 year your baby has 500 – 600ml of SMA Follow-on Milk per day, either as a drink, on cereals or mixed with food. Preparing your baby’s feed Failure to follow instructions on preparation and storage may make your baby ill. 1 Wash hands well. After 6 months of age, if you are using a beaker it is not necessary to sterilise equipment, though you should ensure everything has been fully cleaned. If you are using a bottle sterilise all utensils according to manufacturers instructions. 2 Shake SMA bottle, unscrew lid from bottle and remove the foil seal. Pour desired amount into your own beaker or sterilised bottle and add lid to beaker or sterilised teat and cap to bottle. Replace lid onto the SMA bottle and refrigerate. Use remaining contents within 48 hours of opening. 3 SMA Follow-on Milk can be fed at room temperature. If required to heat, stand your baby’s beaker or bottle in warm water. 4 B
